About RTB Teaneck
RTB Teaneck is the flagship Ready to Ball camp and where it all began. This upcoming summer marks our fourth summer in Teaneck, and it continues to be the biggest and most established of all our RTB camps.
The camp was founded by Avi Proctor, founder of RTB and a proud TABC alumnus, together with Coach Oz Cross, the varsity basketball coach at TABC and a key partner in building RTB from the ground up. From day one, the mission in Teaneck has been clear: to inspire our boys to want to grow in Judaism and basketball at the same time.
Each day at camp begins before the boys even touch the court, with a short schmooze focused on a foundational middah that applies directly to both Torah and basketball. Over the course of the week, we focus on five core middot, helping the boys understand how values like effort, teamwork, discipline, confidence, and responsibility show up on the court and in everyday life.
On the basketball side, RTB Teaneck features high-level training, competitive play, and exposure to a wide range of guest coaches and special guest athletes, making it a truly special experience. Throughout the week, we also bring in guest rabbis to share Torah and inspiration, adding depth and meaning to the camp experience.
RTB Teaneck is more than just a basketball camp. It’s where confidence is built, values are reinforced, and lifelong memories are made. We’re incredibly excited for Year Four in Teaneck and can’t wait for another powerful summer together.
