RTB (Ready to Ball) Florida Basketball Camp is excited to return to Hollywood, Florida for our second summer, after an incredible first year in the community.

Throughout the week, we bring in different coaches from the community and beyond to work with our campers, giving the boys exposure to a variety of coaching styles and perspectives. Our focus is always on strong fundamentals, competing the right way, and helping each camper grow as a player.

One of the most important parts of RTB happens before the boys even touch a basketball. Every single day begins with a short schmooze focused on a foundational middah — a value that applies directly to both Judaism and basketball. Over the course of the five-day camp, we focus on five different middot, helping the boys understand how effort, teamwork, discipline, confidence, and responsibility show up on the court and in everyday life.

At its core, RTB is about showing our boys that you don’t have to choose between growing in basketball and growing in Judaism — you can (and should) do both at the same time.

On the court, we work hard on basketball fundamentals, game awareness, and competition, but just as importantly, we put a huge emphasis on building self-confidence. We believe strongly that when a boy believes in himself, that confidence carries over into basketball, school, friendships, and life.

We’re beyond excited for Year Two in Hollywood, and can’t wait to continue building something special with our campers and families this summer.
